The competition started with each dorm holding their own talent competition, with the winner of each dorm going on to tonight's campus-wide final. It will take place at the Campus Center and will feature great guest performers, live DJ's, free food and many prizes. Admission is free to all who would like to attend.
"The Pawn Shop- Fox Proprietors" is currently happening at the Hampden Art Gallery in the Southwest portion of the UMass-Amherst campus. The exhibit is put on by Tim Winn and Zehra Khan and they describe the exhibit as "the pawnshop is a marketplace of desperation, into which one enters when money is more necessary than possessions. It takes the craftiness of a fox to capitalize and flourish in these dregs of trade."
